Artists in Residence Exhibit
Mendocino Art Center’s 2021/22 Artists in Residence Exhibit features new artwork – including functional and sculptural ceramics and paintings – created by the artists during their residencies at the Mendocino Art Center. AIRs showing their work are Grace Khalsa, Miles McCreary, Austyn Taylor, Nan Whitney, and Ceramics Coordinator Ian Hazard-Bill, a resident artist from 2018 to 2020. Also showing is “Rock, Paper, Scissors,” with collage works by Mendocino heritage artist Dorr Bothwell. A free Second Saturday Gallery Reception will be held Saturday, December 11, 5pm to 7pm. Meet the Artists in Residence, visit their art studios and watch them work, shop our Gallery Store for great gift ideas, and celebrate the holidays by cutting your own paper snowflakes in a free, hands-on “Art in Action” event.
