    Event Description:
    Exhibition for the month of October, Eau des Lace by Barbette Quinn. Barbette was influenced by the dark mysterious backgrounds of the Dutch and Spanish painters of the 17th and 18th Centuries. Still life subjects from objects around her kitchen became her constant study. My inspiration for this exhibition came from visiting an exhibition of the Tudor Royal family portraits where the execution of painting of Lace encouraged me to try it myself.
