First Day Hikes
History and whale watching hike along the Mendocino Headlands. Leaves from the Ford House Visitor Center at 1 p.m. Easy hike, about 1 mile long. Learn about the history of the Mendocino Headlands and the Gray Whale migration as you stroll along the Headlands. Bring cameras and binoculars. A limited number of binoculars are provided. No fee. Donations accepted.
