Invitational - Sarah Logan, Solange Roberdeau, Rebecca Wallace, Collyn Ahren

In April Partners is presenting an invitational show featuring four Mendocino Coast artists and teachers.
Solange Roberdeau expresses her love of the character of materials including the beauty of raw ink, handmade papers and metal in her spare abstract drawings.
Exploring the content of a drop of coastal water, Sarah Logan creates hand-formed ceramic sculptures that resonate her appreciation of the unseen aspects of our natural world.
Working with painted images of ocean waves and silver and gold pen drawing, Rebecca Wallace creates paintings that suggest glimpses into invisible realms, metaphysical realities and internal landscapes.
Collyn Ahrens uses stoneware and porcelain to create bust sculptures and other ceramic forms to investigate animacy and the desire to see oneself in material.
Ahrens and Logan were both artists in residence at the Mendocino Art Center and both teach ceramics at the coast center of Mendocino College. Roberdeau teaches at Art Explorers and the Ukiah campus of the Mendocino College. Wallace teaches at Mendocino Junior College.
