Making & Community

Community In The Making, a group exhibition of work by a range of individuals who have participated in north coast artist and educator, Solange Roberdeau's craft workshops. With a focus on works on paper that employ suminagashi (Japanese water marbling) or gilding (metal leaf application), this exhibition celebrates the beautiful diversity in participants and applications, intrinsic to the process of sharing techniques and exploring materials during creative thinking and communication. Curated by Solange Roberdeau and featuring work by Meredith Andrews, Jayne Foster, Sarah Logan, Kristina Nobleman, Meg Pohlod, Shanna Strauss; the Art Explorers community; Mendocino, Albion and Comptche Elementary Schools; Montessori del Mar Upper and Lower Schools.
