Mendocino Art Center's Members' Juried Exhibit

Every January the Members’ Juried Exhibit features the finest works created by the Mendocino Art Center’s contributing members. A highly competitive juried selection process leads to an exceptionally creative, high quality, and much anticipated gallery showing with a wide spectrum of new, all-media artwork, including paintings, ceramics, sculpture, fiber arts, jewelry, photography and more. This year, artists where given the opportunity to create art in any theme they desired, and/or submit ocean-themed artwork, expressing their love or concern for the ocean. The ocean-themed portion of the exhibit is presented in conjunction with five other Mendocino Coast art galleries who will also exhibit ocean-themed art, including Artists’ Collective in Elk, Artists’ Co-op of Mendocino, Fire Glass Gallery, Northcoast Artists’ Gallery and Partners Gallery. This year’s exhibit is juried by Mendocino Coast artists Karen Bowers and Miriam Davis. Second Saturday Gallery Reception & Open Studios: January 12, 5pm-8pm Free admission Enjoy snacks and wine, and meet the exhibiting artists. During the reception, Mendocino Art Center’s Artists in Residence will open their studios to the public. Watch the artists work and purchase newly created art direct from the artists.
