    Event Description:
    Every January, the Mendocino Art Center celebrates the creativity of its member artists with the all-media Members’ Juried Exhibit. The jurying process leads to an exceptionally creative, high quality, and much anticipated gallery showing with a wide spectrum of artwork, including paintings, ceramics, sculpture, fiber arts, jewelry, photography, mixed media works and more. This year, artists were given the opportunity to create art in any theme they desire, and/or submit work related to book arts – prints of all types, calligraphy, bookmaking, papermaking, poetry, and more – in conjunction with Book Arts Mendocino, a two-month multi-site Mendocino Coast celebration. The exhibit is juried by Mendocino Coast artists Felicia Rice and Pamela Hahn. Join us for a free Second Saturday Gallery Reception, January 8, 4pm-7pm, and meet our exhibiting member artists! At 4pm, there will be a free Talk on Letterpress by Theresa Whitehill.
