Mendocino Art Center's Ocean Wildlife Exhibit and More
The Mendocino Art Center gallery presents the annual “Ocean Wildlife Exhibit,” featuring Buster Dyer’s blown glass works, Cynthia Myers’ sand-carved art glass, Cleo Vilett’s oil and watercolor paintings, and Patrick Doyle’s carved wood art table and a door created in collaboration with Mendocino Doors. Also on exhibit, Lynn Thompson’s bright, vivid oil on canvas paintings in her showing, “Cosmic Creations,” and Button Quinn shows her acrylic and oil paintings on canvas and wood board, and her kelp knitting in her exhibit, “Sea, Silver and Land.” A Free Second Saturday Gallery Reception will be held Saturday, March 14, 5pm to 8pm. Enjoy snacks and wine, the live classical guitar sounds of Sergei Bassehes, and meet the exhibiting artists. Mendocino Art Center’s Artists in Residence will also open their studios to the public during the reception. Watch the artists work and purchase newly created art direct from the artists.
