Mendocino County Museum Holiday Program

Mendocino County Museum Holiday Program In collaboration with the Roots of Motive Power Holiday Express Event, the Mendocino County Museum extends hours on Sat, December 3, 2022, from 11am– 4 pm, and offers FREE Admission for the public to enjoy our exhibits and festive activities. Our correspondence exhibit featuring letters, post cards, and holiday recipes exchanged throughout the county will be on display. Try your hand at using our old-fashioned typewriter or pen a note to a friend using a quill and ink. A special make-and-take craft will be available while supplies last. Enjoy our current exhibit, Exploramos Juntos: Nuestra Alianza, which showcases the vibrant culture of our Latino friends and neighbors in the greater Mendocino County community. Roots of Motive Power will be hosting its annual Holiday Express event at the Roots of Motive Power Yard & Engine House (next to the Museum) on Dec. 3, 2022, from 11am– 4pm. This FREE family event includes Trains, Treats, Toys, and a visit from Santa.
