In-Person and Live Streaming The lively “Hoe-down” from Aaron Copland’s Rodeo will get this show on the road. Maestro Pollack will then lead the Festival String Orchestra in his own composition, Suite for My Sweets, written as a piece celebrating the Festival’s return to live music. Dvorák’s Serenade for Strings in E Major will round out the evening. One of Dvorák’s most popular compositions, the five-movement serenade has been said to have “so much pure goodness in it that even the moments which could cast a melancholy shadow retain a wonderfully cloudless atmosphere.” Allan Pollack, Conductor
