    Event Description:
    Highlight Gallery will be celebrating the month of March with Ocean Themed Art by five of our well-loved artists, starting March 1st kicking off the Mendocino Whale Festival. Doug Wylie has created graceful bronze sculptures of sea life, including his latest baby octopus. Janet Edwards is sharing her lovely original etchings of whales and local scenes. For Elizabeth Berrien, we're showcasing her amazing single strand mermaid wire sculptures. On display by local artist, Jan Peterson, are masterly created ocean impressions sand paintings made with 200+ natural sands, and last but not least, we are exhibiting enchanting mixed media whale drawings by Humboldt artist, Patricia Sundgren Smith. During Whale Festival on the 1st, Graziano Family of Wines will be offering wine tasting here in our gallery from noon to 3pm. Come by and feast your eyes on all the wonderful art on display this month! We are open daily from 11am to 4pm and look forward to seeing you!
