    Roots of Motive Power will be hosting its annual Holiday Express event at the Roots of Motive Power Yard and Engine House (next door to the Museum) on December 7, 2019 from 12 p.m. – 5 p.m. In conjunction the Mendocino County Museum will have extended hours on Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 12 p.m. – 5 p.m., offer FREE Admission, and invite the public to participate in a FREE holiday themed craft while supplies last. This FREE family event includes free train rides, a chance to meet Santa and receive a free small gift, a wagon full of toys raffle, refreshments of cookies and hot chocolate, festive decorations and more! Visitors can also view the newly opened exhibit, Natural Expressions: Art Inspired by Mendocino County, which features artwork showcasing the beauty and diversity of Mendocino County’s landscapes and resources.
