Jesse Pruitt is the manager of the Idaho Virtualization Lab, one of the worlds leaders in 3D scanning and modeling of Natural History collections. He is a paleoichthyologist specializing in Paleozoic chondrichthyans as well as a paleoartist with a focus on digital sculpting and 3D printing. He has led 3D scanning projects across the country, digitizing whales, prehistoric life, deep earth caves, and even an Aleutian Island. His lab has supplied research, 3D modelling and printing, exhibits to organizations such as Shark Week, River Monsters, Finding Bigfoot, and the Smithsonian.
