Science Talk: The Behavioral Biology of Killer Whales–What We’ve Learned in 50 Years of Observation
What started as a simple admiration of killer whales turned into a career of observation and research. Noyo Center Science Advisor, Jeff Jacobson has dedicated endless hours following pods, tracking behavioral patterns, and learning to appreciate these mammals for their tenacity, personalities, and more. Join us for an unforgettable evening under our infamous killer whale skeleton, and learn about what his life could have been like while he swam our local oceans. Jeff has a fantastic collection of photos he will share, as well as stories from his experiences with these magnificent marine mammals.
